Assessment and Planning

The Small Business Development Center has just completed a survey to update current needs assessments and for use in developing a five year community physician recruitment and retention plan. Incorporating input from various community stakeholders, this document will be used to inform the allocation of resources and the development of collaborative recruitment strategies.

The most recent community assessments available are listed below:

• Obstetric Care Gap Analysis 2007 - Western Washington University’s Small Business Development Center (SBDC) contracted with Whatcom Alliance for Healthcare Access (WAHA) to conduct a detailed confidential survey of Whatcom County obstetric care.
