Position Announcement: Navigator Program Regional Coordinator
The Whatcom Alliance for Health Advancement (WAHA) seeks a Navigator Program Regional Coordinator working with the Washington Health Benefit Exchange (WAHBE) under the Affordable Care Act. This position will provide direct service appointments to clients in need of enrollment assistance and coordinate subcontractors to ensure quality services in educating and enrolling underserved and hard to reach populations in health care coverage available through the WAHBE.
Duties will include assisting Navigator Program Manager in partner organization communications, gathering program data, maintaining compliance, reaching targeted goals, providing technical support, and reporting progress to the WAHBE.
The Navigator Program Regional Coordinator will assist the Navigator Program Manager in our efforts to strengthen existing partnerships with community and business organizations, as well as build new partnerships with referral organizations and identify new partnerships as enrollment subcontractors. The Navigator Program Regional Coordinator will also help to plan and implement a comprehensive outreach plan involving all contracted community partnerships.

“Healthy Futures” Health Care Access Intern
The Whatcom Alliance for Health Advancement (WAHA), a local nonprofit organization, is seeking two AmeriCorps “Healthy Futures” Health Care Access Interns. The AmeriCorps interns will play a critical role in developing and implementing strategies to increase health insurance literacy and healthcare system navigation, with a focus on the newly-insured population.
